GP has always been known as making timeless and beautiful girard-perregaux ferrari 250 replica watches.  But, like Ferrari, they are by no means behind the times in terms of technology, performance and style.  Which, brings me to this watch.  In the mid and late-nineties, GP created a series of limited edition watches based on the reference #8090 chronograph commemorating classic Ferraris.  Among the most limited is the 250 TR Testarossa edition.  This watch was a very limited run of only 50 pieces.

girard perregaux ferrari replica  is no stranger to teaming up with watch brands for some really cool co-branded timepieces.  Their current partner, Hublot, recently launched the Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold, which, despite the name, is one of (I think) 2012’s coolest watches.  Before Hublot, it was Panerai.  Perhaps, though, the most interesting and understated limited Ferrari editions came when the maker of the Prancing Horse teamed up with Girard-Perregaux.

The blue dial with bright yellow “250 TR” reminds me of the early ’70s Ferrari 512M Sunoco Le Mans racer.  The case back is engraved with “250 TR Testarossa Ferrari”, the edition number (USA 13/50 for this one) and the silhouette of the car.  The girard perregaux replica watch 40 mm case is definitely comfortable.  The movement is a 57 jewel Calibre 2280 self-winding chronograph with a 12-hour register, central minute register and 24-hour indication.  To this day, I think this is the most beautiful Ferrari co-branded watch from any partnership.  If only I could get the car that matches the watch…
