Mechanically speaking, the GP 1966 Doctor’s Watch takes the basic 1966 Chronograph 38 jewel movement and ads a “pulsometer” scale which isn’t all too different from a tachymeter scale found on most chronographs.  But, where the tachymeter scale helps to calculate speed, the girard perregaux replica watches  helps to determine heart rate.  Neat.  Just add the number indicated by the second hand to the first thirty counted beats, and, presto, you have a heart-rate.
