The Glashütte Original-Documentary Award is endowed with € 50,000, funded by Glashütte Original. The prize money will be split between the film’s director and producer. A total of 18 documentary entries from the current programmes of the Competition, Berlinale Special, Panorama, Forum, Generation and Perspektive Deutsches Kino sections and the special presentation Culinary Cinema are nominated for the Glashütte Original-Documentary Award.
The prize will be presented during the official Award Ceremony in the Berlinale Palast on February 24. In addition to the prize money, Glashutte Original Watches Uk Replica will also provide the trophy, which will be finely crafted in the company’s manufactory in Saxony.
A three-member jury, composed of Cíntia Gil (Portugal), co-directors of the Doclisboa, Portugal’s most important and steadily expanding documentary film festival; director Ulrike Ottinger (Germany); and journalist, playwright, screenwriter, and filmmaker Eric Schlosser (USA), will pick the winner.

Looking at the situation in steel, the thin double-step bezel and the curved lugs help give the watch a more casual, almost sporty look. This can be further accentuated by the prominent fluted screw-down crown. The pushers are rectangular and adhere to the situation silhouette, however. It feels like Glashütte was trying to walk a fine line between making this watch look too sporty or too formal. At 42mm broad and 14.6mm thick, so this is a fairly large sized watch and this is much more a result of technical limitations as an automatic chronograph movement can only be so thin. While aesthetically, the watch wouldn’t seem out of place using a lawsuit, it’s definitely not inconspicuous enough to be a true dress watch. It is rated to 100m of water resistance along with the accompanying rubber strap means that you may take it swimming with you — only remember to not operate the pushers underwater. The dial is where some of the biggest design changes have been introduced that give this watch its casual look. The foundation dial is varnished in a deep, rich black, unlike its own precious metal siblings, and for those used to looking at traditional three-dial chronographs or even the A. Lange & Söhne Datograph, the Glashütte turns objects on its mind — literally. The 12-hour counter is now at 12:00, with operating seconds and power reserve at 9:00, 30-minute counter at 3:00, and the panorama date down at 6:00. With all the functions this view offers, it’s no surprise that there is a hectic dial and while most of it’s nicely designed, I really do find that the “Glashütte I/SA” printed directly above the 12:00 sub-dial to be unnecessary and a bit of an eyesore.
