Like its predecessor, the zenith el primero 410 chronograph replica is a triple-date chronograph with moon phase. And, boy is it a good looking watch with a classic and clean design that is easy to read and stunning to look at.That’s probably due in part to the fact that it has one of the best movements in the history of watch-dom, the El Primero automatic column-wheel chronograph. The Zenith Calibre 410 is even complete with triple-calendar and moon phase. Or, at least it was during its 1960 to 2000 production run.
The original zenith el primero 410 replica is a rather highly revered and sought after watch.
Now, there’s a new one to honor the old… the 500 piece limited edition Zenith El Primero 410.
The dial and subdials are a light silver with mild texturing. The silver indices, hour hand and minute hand mate will with the blue second hand and moon phase. The month, day and date indicators (at 2, 10, and 4:30 positions, respectively) are really nicely integrated into the overall dial.
The case is 42 mm stainless steel, up 4 mm from the original Calibre 410. Housed inside the Zenith El Primero 410 case is its 5 hz (36,000 vph) Calibre 410 column-wheel chronograph movement that is visible through the display back, replete with Côtes de Genève engraved winding rotor.
Like I said, the Zenith Replica Watch is limited to 500 examples. With a price of about $11,000, I imagine they won’t be that hard to sell. I certainly want one. For more info, check out Zenith’s website.
